Eyewear design is a segment of contemporary expressions. Just as architecture, interior and fashion designs illustrate era, eyewear embraces various factors of trend in fashion, philosophy, and lifestyle of the time. “Deliberating today through the subject of eyewear” is comparable to searching significance in design.

Last year award went to NUS ID's alumna Mr. Joe Tan (AY04/05) and his work "blur" which is inspired by the photoshop "blur" tool often used to erase wrinkles in photos.
