ECOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROCESSES
LSM3251 will introduce students to core ecology through key environmental issues such as global warming, pollution, biodiversity, population growth and sustainable agriculture. Taking a distinctive approach, it will start each topic with a real life example and uses this as a springboard to present core theory, while taking care to introduce ecological principles in a logical sequence throughout this course. Students will explore ecological principles and environmental issues in greater depth through mini hand-on field projects, classroom discussion and debates.
