Sharing a module blog among several staff and want to organise your posts?
Use
Categories Tags! You can set these up any way you want. The
categories tags can be topical or by individual. The latter is particularly useful if topics within a module differ among lecturers. Remember, the module blog is a group blog. Do keep your colleagues in the loop about this collaborative resource. Oh, and you can use multiple tags for individual posts, for those posts which defy categorisation or fall into more than one area.
To create a category tag1. From your blog, click
My Blog Dashboard, under
Common Tasks.
Your blog might will look different from the screenshot below, as this was from a previous version of Community Server.
2. From the blog's
Control Panel, click
Manage Content, followed by
Tags/Keywords.

3. In the
Tags/Keywords page, click
Create New Tag.

4. A pop-up
Tag Editor will appear. Fill in the tag
Name, and check
Enabled. Click
Save.

5. You've created a tag. Repeat from the top to create more tags.
To post to a tag1. From the
Write a Blog Post (or
Edit Post) page, click the
Options tab. (If this is not visible, check
Advanced Options first.)

2. Check the tag (or tags) that the post will come under. You can return to the blog entry. Once you click
Publish, the entry will be added to the chosen tag (or tags).
